This is the author of this blog. Having made a career in someone else’s big business, one day I gave up on everything and went free floating – to do what I love. I changed a business suit for a kitchen apron, Excel tables for a spelling dictionary, meetings for a writer’s retreat, business trips for interesting travels, corporate struggles for creative torments. From business trips, I bring cookbooks instead of contracts with clients. I choose my own hours of work and end up working around the clock.
My years of experience working with the world’s top manufacturers of appliances, dinnerware and accessories made me think seriously about why people buy all those things and what they do with them afterwards. That’s how food came into my life. I started working early, so I didn’t learn how to cook. But life took a sharp turn, and I ended up in New York to tell the world about our region and its gastronomic culture.
Now I’m working on a book about cuisine, writing for gastronomic and travel publications, and organizing cooking workshops and pop-up dinners in restaurants.
I share my culinary knowledge and skills here on my blog. If you would like to contact me, please email me at [email protected].
